Play chess with your element

The old book gathering knowledge from all strong king in Tanah Melayu (King from the sea, King at the mountain, and king from the mainland. They also gather all knowledge from the people can forecast and also the warrior all over Tanah Melayu. The purpose the gathering is to ensure the Tanah Melayu can be protected. Luckily im not enough to fulfill the condition then my father not going to teach me full with isen.

But my mother teach me about the other old book which contain how to judge people at the first look. This knowledge seem interesting to me. This knowledge make me more confident although that is no real support to say the information all true.
One of small part of the book explain about people character..The old book separate people to 4 type of element base on rank in family. No lightning element you see at Naruto manga…:)

1.The older child – Earth element
2. Second - Water element
3. Third – Fire element
4. Fourth – Wind element
5. Fifth – back to earth element again



Earth – Simple life, not always take risk, follow the rule.
Chess style- Solid opening, centre control, love small edge and ending type player.
Suitable opening – Caro kanh(B19), Giuco Piano, and Catalan opening (E05).
Info – ok with all element.




Water – Always keep inside, Not aggressive character but mystery.
Chess style- Closed opening, Slow developement, Knight favour than bishop, defensive game.
Suitable opening – French defence(C18), English Attack(A17), dutch defence(A80).
Info – Be careful of fire and wind type and ok with earth.


Fire – Aggressive, temper, active.
Chess style- Attacking style, prefer bishop, double edge game, open game and exchange sacrifice.
Suitable opening – Aggressive opening, Yugoslav attack(B90), Ultra sharp botivinik(D43) and Gambit opening.
Info – Be careful of wind and not ok with water type.



Wind – Depend to the environment, Plan always changing, not stable.
Chess style - 2 type of wind-Challenge the opponent plan or run from opponent plan.
Info – changer to the bad or good base on internal characteristic and environment.
Suitable opening – Both aggressive and passive opening depend on the above characteristic, the suitable always double edge game and exchange sacrifice line..

Lets have example about me..Actually im earth element because of 5th rank. But the additional calculation….add me to 2 more elements because of one of my sibling die early and changing of rank. That means im with main is earth plus additional water and wind.
My chess game seem balance at the opening, change to other type when in the middle and ending base on additional element.

Although the modern opening come into chess at Lasker era the natural characteristic take in consideration.
