Depend on u to play 9.h3 or straight away with 9. d4. With d4 straight away, u may face Marshall attack. I choose this line to avoid any Marshall attack at first. But later after 2,3 year, the question appear in my head, “what are u scare for?”. What I can do?. I already finished this line.

Almost the line arise from 9.h3..All line have their advantages and disadvantages. If I have to play black against Ruy Lopez, may be I choose 9. h3 Nb8 (will discuss later on C95) 0r 9.h3 Nd7. I really interest with the complication for the both variations. But actually this line may reach more than 25^th move before the novelty.

There are 2 player actually use this line as their pet. I can see both of them follow this line till 20^th plus moves before make own novelty. One of the the new NM before Lim Zhou Ren and rising player from Penang. Luckily I just play 1.e4 once..:)

The reason why White usually plays 9.h3 instead of 9.d4. After 9.d4 Bg4, the pin of the white king knight is troublesome. The variation takes its name from the game Capablanca–Bogoljubow, London 1922. This variation much have attention in wijk ann Zee and Linares. There a lot possibility to play for the both side. You may enjoy Gm annotated game for the variation given. I just give u guideline to choose the line which interesting to play.

Actually there r 3 types of player in chess tournament. They usually play and ended the game with same style or weapon.

Who come up with good opening than convert to full point- Opening player
Come with inferior opening and make good tactical play in middle game, after winning pieces or position and winning the game- Tactical player
Play with balance, slightly advantage in opening and middle game. with a good play with queen less game then winning with pass pawn - Ending player

General speaking, the opening player are bad in tactical game and tactical player never concern the opening in their game at amateur level. The ending player play with the boring game..hehe.

This line also can transpose to the other line. Some of them, the evaluation really favor to white. I just compile some popular line u may face in the tournament.

3...Bb4 pins the knight on c3, forcing White to resolve the central tension. White normally clarifies the central situation for the moment with 4.e5, gaining space and hoping to show that Black's b4-bishop is misplaced. Black can play 4....Ne7, though he usually responds 4...c5, after which the usual reply is 5.a3 Bxc3+ 6.bxc3, resulting in the position below:While White has doubled pawns on the queenside, which form the basis for Black's counterplay, they can also help White since they strengthen his centre and give him a semi-open b-file. White has a spatial advantage on the kingside, where Black is even weaker than usual because he has traded off his dark-squared bishop. Combined with the bishop pair, this gives White attacking chances, which he must attempt to utilise as the long-term features of this pawn structure favour Black.

Black most frequently plays 6...Ne7. (The main alternative is 6...Qc7, which can simply transpose to main lines after 7.Qg4 Ne7, but Black also has the option of 7.Qg4 f5 or....f6.) Now White can exploit the absence of Black's dark-square bishop by playing 7.Qg4, giving Black two choices: he may sacrifice his kingside pawns with 7...Qc7 8.Qxg7 Rg8 9.Qxh7 cxd4 but destroy White's centre in return, the so-called "Poisoned Pawn Variation"; or he can play 7...0-0 8.Bd3 Nbc6, which avoids giving up material, but leaves the king on the flank where White is trying to attack. I m not good in blitz. When i stay at chess on line, just watching people playing game. . I try to find out position set up suitable for blitz which have

1. alot premove,

2. easy to make "just move",

3. closed game,

4. not easy to make blunder,

5. less tactical play and

6. Easy to play.

7. CAN PLAY FOR THE BOTHSIDES

There a lot openings including gambit line which suitable for agressive and tactical player. but need to study so many possibilities.

This position come from Birds system. g3 line

1. King stay at suitable place

2. We can break at the centre, Queenside or at Kingside

3. We can use f file for rook to support Kingside attack

This is original from Birds system, or solid slav(regularly play for black).

i really interest with this set up, totally less tactical play. overall game bishop seem useless in this game. Both bishop stay till ending.

Now time to face a long theorical opening. This opening play a lot by Karpov, Anand and topalov. The black top player are sokolov and Kochnoi.

The opening is named after the 16th century Spanish priest Ruy López de Segura, who made a systematic study of this and other openings in the 150-page book on chess Libro del Ajedrez written in 1561. Though it bears his name, this particular opening was included in the Göttingen manuscript, which dates from around 1490. Popular use of the Ruy Lopez opening did not develop, however, until the mid-1800s when Carl Jaenisch, a Russian theoretician, "rediscovered" its potential. The opening remains the most commonly used amongst the open games in master play; it has been adopted by almost all players during their careers, many of whom have played it with both colours.
In the Open Defence, 3...a6 4.Ba4 Nf6 5.0-0 Nxe4, Black tries to make use of the time White will take to regain the pawn to gain a foothold in the centre, with play usually continuing 6.d4 b5 7.Bb3 d5 8.dxe5 Be6. Here 8.Nxe5, once adopted by Fischer, is much less often seen, and Black should equalise after the accurate 8....Nxe5 9.dxe5 c6, which avoids prematurely committing the light-squared bishop and solidly defends d5, often a problem in the Open.
White has a variety of options at move nine, including 9.c3, 9.Be3, 9.Qe2 and 9.Nbd2.
Karpov's move, 9.Nbd2, limits Black's options. In the 1978 Karpov–Korchnoi World Chess Championship match, following 9.Nbd2 Nc5 10.c3 d4 (10...Be7 is an old move that remains popular) Karpov introduced the surprising 11.Ng5!?, a move suggested by his trainer, Igor Zaitsev. If Black takes the knight with 11...Qxg5 White regains the material with 12.Qf3. This variation played a decisive role in a later World Championship match, Kasparov–Anand 1995, when Anand was unable to successfully defend as Black.

Popular Choice Opening

Chess player chose suitable opening base on thier style and believe. Interesting!... You also can start select the opening base on the picture....

This is Slav (D12). Normal line white will place Nh4 than take Bishop on g6. This opening usually play by Kramnik (black) and Topalove (White). This opening hard to find direct attack. At last its turn to ending line which prefer Bishop than Knight. If u can leave double Bishop in ending, u might be win.

This one is (D15). Set up c5 as a decoy then pull all attack on kingside. if u dare loss a pawn for attacking chance. its worth!... Play alot by Aronian with black and Bacrot. This line show almost all negative sign base on weak pawn on c5

This also slav. But im not sure what variation it is. Unfamiliar to me seeing black waste tempo with Nd5 and Qe7 before castle. White finish developement with tempo. ready to attack soon...

B47. Sicilian Nadjov. Moro play alot with this variation last year with very good result. Against this variation i prefer f4 set up with always positive sign. But database less provide for this variation.

Sicilian Nadjov with Bg5. Its can turn to ultra sharp poison pawn varition (B99 i think) Radjabov teimour play and beat Anand and Karjakin both last year. thats game he play 1.e4 for the first instead 1.d4.

This is french advance (C02). this close opening play alot by Varuzon Akobian. But Varuzon Akobian prefer with variation Qb6 with alot oppoturnity. This variation (Qb6) play alot at 2007.
If i play this i much prefer Qb6 than Nh6. depend on u.

This one.... im not sure...seem Tropowsky...if thats opening, white plan is to finish developement than make breakthrough with e4 then lunch attack on Kingside. Watchout for the light square bishop. Thats sacrifice line use thats Bishop

English Opening. This opening's book easy to find. This game Calsen beat Kramnik with this variation. (A29)1. c4 e5. Calsen explain that he want middle game struggle against him. Seem Carlsen good with all first move after being train by exworld champion.

Sorry for pic quality. Base on black play (E91). King Indian defence with breakthrough on c5. he use sacrufice line on b5. U can find by yourself one of the famaous game by Kasparove with sacrifice line on b5. seem black follow this line.

E94. Average white have open game against KID. Less complex pawn structure compare the other variation on KID. White can set up e f4 then Be3-f2. See Radjabove game, he love KID alot.

Sicilian Dragon. Mostly Gm discuss with line Bc4. This line sharp and complex for the both side. Nigel Short play alot long time ago....

D12. But im unfamiliar with Ne5.

D12 also. If u follow Kochnoi's game, u will found h3 than transpose to agressive attacking game on king side. Always white will follow h3 then g4 then Qb3. Statistically white wining chance 's better.

Last week my director and I play at UTP open. We on the way to make site visit at Pahang on Monday and Tuesday. Actually I not prepare game like always because busy with SHO assignment and SPAN product certificate but with some luck I manage get 27th place from seed 33th. How lucky!...i meet first gm blogger there. Have a visit his blog for this tournament detail.

This opening play a lot in late 70, almost all Malaysian can play this variation. I play with the both side. The game can transfer to ending and complex tactical. I always choose simple and easy game with small slight advantage if I play this opening. My lecturer from UiTM (Norazmi) play quiet a lot with this opening with both side. He good player with no rating. This guy truely genius. I never beat him before, all lost and draw. If I meet him this time, what can I promise to him -"i will play better game".

White top player Shirov, Moro and Polgar
Black top player Azmziparashvili and lately Moro

This opening can transfer to accept d4 plan or decline. I prefer black accept d4 pawn for pawn storm strategies. This line I will discus later, im quiet busy. Im just discus the decline line which play a lot at nowadays.

Chess Time's Management

I just play for rapid and blitz game only. For long game, its kill much of my time. I cant waste my time just for chess. Im sorry. This advice just for me. I love to play long game, but sometimes when getting at my ages a lot responsibility need to take care.

After the game u can calculate more accurate compare who never play. That’s is good benefit. Last time I played long game at (MSSM) Temerloh (SMART) 1996. Thats time Mas vs Mok. If I not wrong Mok wins that’s game.

For 25 minutes game, I play a lot because game just one day. futher more I can make a lot of friends. Although im not talkative guy. Im okey, I think…
Base on graph I just provide to you(25m=1500sec)…

1. If u good in opening (1-10moves) u may make without thinking. Actually all player use same opening almost all their life.(That’s why I provide the opening)

2. Sub variation and novelty. Here u need to understand the theory every sub variation chose by the opponent. Take more time here. The novelty base on creativity or computer analysis. Ur natural talent and understanding knowledge take benefit here.

3. Middle game, exchange pieces. Use a lot time also. U must understand opponent plan before exchange ur minor or major pieces.

4. Here always happened checkmate combination or tactical combination. The active pieces can make more opportunity compare to the bad one. Have a look.

5. Ending. Bishop better at open game. Knight use at close game. Simple rule. Sometimes other reason need to take precaution as the advance pass pawn or Queen ending.

6. Ending level 2. Check any plan of opponent. Centre attack, double edge or rook game. This time u need more practice. Just less 10 sec every move. Learn more ending.

7. Avoid any perpetual check or safe place for the opponent. Make easy win. If u are bad position so find the safe place or perpetual check. Haha. That’s simple.

Here just guideline only. When u play tournament, the time should be 50 minutes. You have a lot of time on that. I less happened loss on time because I try to manage my time at the spec. The player who have time’s struggle easy to make blunder. Believe me.

Peraturan Pertandingan
• Kejohanan ini berdasarkan Peraturan Sistem Swiss FIDE 6 pusingan.
• Yuran pendaftaran adalah seperti berikut:
Terbuka : RM10 seorang
Pelajar Sekolah Menengah : RM5 seorang
Pelajar Sekolah Rendah : RM 3 seorang
Yuran Penyertaan hanya perlu dibayar pada hari kejohanan.

Tarikh tutup pendaftaran ialah 19 FEBRUARI 2010.
(Daftar dahulu, yuran bayar kemudian pada hari pertandingan)
• Bilangan pemain dihadkan dalam jumlah 200 orang sahaja.
• Keputusan arbiter adalah muktamad. Setiap aduan terhadap permainan perlu diserahkan kepada arbiter kejohanan dalam masa 15 minit selepas pusingan tersebut. Bayaran pemprosesan sebanyak RM50.00 akan dikenakan. Wang ini tidak akan dikembalikan sekiranya. aduan tidak berjaya
• Hadiah-hadiah yang berbentuk wang tunai, piala dan barangan akan disampaikan kepada para pemenang. Barangan tidak boleh ditukarkan kepada wang tunai.
• Panel Rayuan yang terdiri daripada 5 orang pemain akan dilantik sebelum pertandingan dimulakan.
• Masa permainan diperuntukan ialah 25 minit dan masa ’walk-over’ ialah 15 minit. Sekiranya kedua-kedua pemain tidak hadir, maka mereka dianggap kalah. Nama permain yang tidak hadir tanpa sebab akan digugurkan daripada pusingan akan datang.
• Catatan gerakan adalah tidak wajib, tetapi keputusan yang dicatat pada ‘score sheet’ dan ditandatangani oleh kedua-dua pemain adalah muktamad dan arbiter TIDAK akan bertanggungjawab ke atas sebarang kesilapan pemain.
• Jawatankuasa Penganjur berhak menambah, menolak dan menukar sebarang peraturan sebelum dan semasa pertandingan jika difikirkan perlu.

This opening totally not just B90. I arrange this way, easy to update. Its also include B81 and others. I have the idea after Naka and Dominic play this variation at Super GM's Tournaments. If they dare to play this line, which mean this line ok at that’s level.

At first, I try 5.Nc3 a6 6.f3….. But its turn to many main line which need to take consideration. I haven’t much time to look on B80, B57, B47, B32, B33 and many more. Some of them have exchange sacrifice variation. Some ofthem with negative sign. (Computer evaluation) Yes I already finish that’s variation 6 months ago. After that ill try Adam's variation.This variation seem give me good feeling in multi style game on 1.e4.

This is part of middle game which u should lean. Base on quality, 1.e4 preparation better than my 1.d4 opening. My 1.d4 opening selected base on percentage of winning game and side line variations. But all the selection variation use GM games as reference.

This opening popular play by Kramnik against Garry Kasparov. The game plan, to play ending against attacking player. Yes that opening doing okey and stop Garry make winning point with white. This opening demonstrates how to use knight or bishop with the right way. This opening seem boring if u r tactical player. Although this is boring game, its can improve ur ending strategy. I choose this opening for 1.e4 for the value of ending technique. And the value of attacking style u can wait the B90, which ill post when I come back from out station. This opening (B90), have negative sign but the attacking style can give u winning chance.

U can try with ur own novelty, here just guide line from GM games, sometimes no need to depend much on their games. Try our creativity. When u understand this opening positioning, u will start feeling this variation have excitement.

This is start to the interesting chess theory. The other Ruy lopez can go to 25th move theorical before reach the novelty. That’s good for u if u play this line at the start. This line already been explore by expert, than u can check database every move development by player. If u really interest with this opening u can see the higher opponent play with lower ELO. They can beat lower rating easily. That happened because of the experience understand the position better than opponent.

But for this opening straight to ending game. Clear ending game not complex pawn structure as the others Ruy Lopez. Lets enjoy sometimes with ending.

Evan vs Khai Boon...For the first place...The position i like NM evan so much. He has attacking chance. All player just play "marketing time". Evan wins. Khai Boon's time drop. Look NM Evan's father give support at the back(Glassman with yellow shirt). What a good father.

The old book gathering knowledge from all strong king in Tanah Melayu (King from the sea, King at the mountain, and king from the mainland. They also gather all knowledge from the people can forecast and also the warrior all over Tanah Melayu. The purpose the gathering is to ensure the Tanah Melayu can be protected. Luckily im not enough to fulfill the condition then my father not going to teach me full with isen.

But my mother teach me about the other old book which contain how to judge people at the first look. This knowledge seem interesting to me. This knowledge make me more confident although that is no real support to say the information all true.
One of small part of the book explain about people character..The old book separate people to 4 type of element base on rank in family. No lightning element you see at Naruto manga…:)

1.The older child – Earth element
2. Second - Water element
3. Third – Fire element
4. Fourth – Wind element
5. Fifth – back to earth element again

Earth – Simple life, not always take risk, follow the rule.
Chess style- Solid opening, centre control, love small edge and ending type player.
Suitable opening – Caro kanh(B19), Giuco Piano, and Catalan opening (E05).
Info – ok with all element.

Water – Always keep inside, Not aggressive character but mystery.
Chess style- Closed opening, Slow developement, Knight favour than bishop, defensive game.
Suitable opening – French defence(C18), English Attack(A17), dutch defence(A80).
Info – Be careful of fire and wind type and ok with earth.

Fire – Aggressive, temper, active.
Chess style- Attacking style, prefer bishop, double edge game, open game and exchange sacrifice.
Suitable opening – Aggressive opening, Yugoslav attack(B90), Ultra sharp botivinik(D43) and Gambit opening.
Info – Be careful of wind and not ok with water type.

Wind – Depend to the environment, Plan always changing, not stable.
Chess style - 2 type of wind-Challenge the opponent plan or run from opponent plan.
Info – changer to the bad or good base on internal characteristic and environment.

Lets have example about me..Actually im earth element because of 5th rank. But the additional calculation….add me to 2 more elements because of one of my sibling die early and changing of rank. That means im with main is earth plus additional water and wind.
My chess game seem balance at the opening, change to other type when in the middle and ending base on additional element.

Although the modern opening come into chess at Lasker era the natural characteristic take in consideration.

This week im quiet busy with unplanned schedule, when im back at home, getting tired. I have no chance to update blog. Last week I play at SP open. Well, the game play against me seem some people read my blog. Thank you. Of course I can play 1.e4 and 1.d4. That’s tournament with white I always chose 1.d4. I loss one game with white again with Dutch. Currently Dutch play by Naka against Vishy at Corus 2010. Drew!...

Today we discus about the Caro Kann which it not popular anymore. But if this variation play by your opponent, must have some variation against it. Consider must have variation. Base on statistic this variation give white better opportunity and gain the centre game. More than 30% can score by white.

I group this 2 opening together for easy to update. Actually they are 2 different variation. Furthermore, this game less happened in the tournament lately.

I introduce to you a new line to crush the Petroff Defence.Although it less occur at our country ‘s game. I pretty sure u will see the opponent may use it. This opening popular play by Vladimir Kramnik. He got good drawish result with this variation. On the latest world Championship, Vishy avoid 1.e4 against Kramnik instead play with 1.d4. Furthermore Kramnik is the best ending player. I admire much his style in ending. Who not Kramnik’s fan they call him Drawnik, but for me, as world champion the best play is drawish variation. Because all eyes on him.

The white top player are Kramnik, Moro, Shirov and N. Short.
The black top player are Kramnik, Karpov, and A. Montylev

I just post the preparation how to play with 1.e4. This preparation base on strong Gm play. Which it might help any of you can get international with this knowledge. I will post to you all…

1. Opening preparation with 1.e4 ( the game I post actually 2400 t0 2852 player ELO)

2. The variation I already gave base on computer analysis which the best my computer can get.

3. Plan to post all trap usually happened in every opening provide

4. The latest game discuss at GM level on the above opening.( But I still check its available or not)

Actually the opening preparation I already give to you come from something like this…

For sure, I also have PGN and CBH data base. I can use Chessmaster as database and Fritz as position analysis. I just give halft of them to make u work independent and learn something else.

The top white player are G. Kasparove, Vishy,Topalov and Ponomariov.
The top black player are Anatoly Karpove. This ex-wold champion the most who play this variation. U can check database by yourselves.
I start the opening database at 2005, When I really interest with Vishy and Moro games. Lately Moro going down in the latest tournament. But I still his big fan. Vishy play with the opening solid and balance at that’s time. Im enjoy his games. The Moro games give me unpleasant feeling. Hate but love.With the pieces like not human move. Completely uncentralization. You can try D17 variation. Moro play quiet often at that’s time.

Against Caro-Kann opening, when black play 4…Nd7, Vishy always pick Ng5 variation. So I think this good variation, if not why the strongest GM play. I checked with computer, this variation have complex position. Some o f them get to Rook sacrifice.
Lately, this variation getting less been discuss in GM level. May be, there have variation which black can equalize the game or the popular of advance variation 3.e5 and 4..Bf5 variation or white better anyhow. I don’t Know.

I heard rumor, last year one GM from Philippine start train two kid at Penang. I saw this both kids have good progress in their games. Almost their game balance till end, and their ending theory more than better.

This GM play French Defence when I first saw him at Pesta Pulau Pinang 2008 . If im not wrong he face one of Penang NM, Ronnie Lim. GM win. He first board winner with 100% score. I just play for 2^nd day only. First day I need to attend contract interview for the water feature system at Persiaran Gurney. I win all games, 4/4 but not enough to get the best board. Another player get 5/5.

This French defence Variation seem get attention to GM level when Naka and Boring Boris have good result in this variation lately. Furthermore this opening seem give many variety of variation.

1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 dxe4 4. Nxe4 From here there have 2 popular line… 4…Nd7 (popular line chose by Bareev Evgeny) 4…Bd7 ( regular play lately) 4…Nf6 just okey variation for me. White better anyhow. Lets we see the Fort Knox variation.

I always give the variation till 15^th move, I purpose do this to ensure u study not too boring. I class this study for opening only. Take you board and try this variation. Its good for the both side. Don’t listen to Sicilian Player. They hate this much. Hahaha. I know.

Free Hot Water

Do you believe the air conditioner can create free hot water. You can believe it. Its just reverse application for the air conditioner. Usually the air conditioner release heat from evaporator to the environment. Then with intent to save the world the engineer invent the device can store the heat into water. Air conditioner and the reverse application is heat pump. Heat pump not supply water. Its produce hot water!

Base on my calculation and experiment on this product. That’s true its can go up to 4 times power (KW) produce by compressor. U can make this calculation by yourself if u know what is the term COP, SEER, EER, 1 ton refrigerant and compressor power. I hate calculation. But this what I do for life. So sad.

I open the system about 15 minutes, the water tank about 38 liters. Its can warm up to 40 degree. I think with this water volume that enough for take bath.

But please…Ask the right contractor for this product. Just information for u.

Hei , guy, u actually drink corrode water! Im not bluffing. I design the water system. Including home water system, hot water system, water feature, spa , swimming pool, hot water from solar, steam bath, filtering system, sewerage, water treatment plant, rain harvest, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, ultra filtration…. Actually all water system.

The old design of the home water system can separate to 4 parts.

Water supply (Material GI pipe)
Basement Tank (Material GI water tank)
.Roof Top Tank (Material GI water Tank)
Home tank (HDPE)

Off course the new system using non metal material (polypipe). GI material still corrode for long time duration. Eventless some water tank system have no lining (HDPE lining). Water direct contact to the metal and release anion and Kation. This process call oxidation or corrosion. The red color new material settle down to the tank. Some of them direct supply to your body.

As the solution some of people using filtration to reduce contaminant in the water. You must properly select the filter. Ill try to guide u to select the filter:-

1. Their spectrum, Usually measure by micron
2. Auto backwash
3. Filter material itself (usually stainless steel or non metal)
4. Cartridge type (membrane, pleated, sand, carbon….)
5. Filter's life span

Nik Farouqi take time to choose sub variation on this opening, Abdullah pressed him to move faster…im no body after all. When I involve in this line the real scope getting bigger, not just taking care of the products but also the human all around. I always choose the popular variation to discuss, why?....If u play not popular opening u only discuss the opening by yourself. The popular opening have been develop by you and strong GM. This is dangerous opening, if you fall against this opening, no where you can avoid loss. This opening getting popular line at North west Malaysia. If u play at Kelantan they good in ending, Penang have good opening preparation, Perak with King Gambit Opening, Terengganu always French Defence killer and Johor with aggressive attacking skilled. Do not concern to much about this, its already change beyond time.
